CNE Direct is a global leader in the reverse distribution of technology hardware. We buy large quantities of excess and outdated computing and communications related products from companies with inventory that is a “non-performing” asset which they’d like to convert to cash.

We receive, inspect, test, refurbish, and resell material through a network of logistics and sales locations around the globe. We do this in a manner that guarantees erasure of any/all sensitive data and with a “zero landfill” policy in mind.

We sell product to a vast network of resellers, dealers, systems integrators, OEMs, repair centers, retailers, and e-tailers through brokered transactions and online sales vehicles in over 30 countries around the globe. We have a dedicated team of Commodity Managers and Account Executives who make a market for specific product groups, and a web-based trading system that allows for transaction velocity – around the clock and around the globe.

      Over the past 10 years our customers, suppliers, and employees have helped to make CNE Direct a successful and growing company which we are very thankful for. In that spirit of gratitude, we remind ourselves that there are many in this world who have not had the opportunities we have had- and it is our responsibility to always help those who are less fortunate than us.

      Every year CNE Direct contributes a significant portion of its profits to charitable organizations who help people in need. In the past year we began supporting one particular organization who’s impact is dramatic and whose story is fascinating.

      Even better, we began to tie our contributions to this charity directly to the business that many of our customers and vendors do with us every day. It’s part of a program called “Drives for Water”, and its premise is quite simple. For every hard drive we sell, we contribute $0.02 to the program.

      As many of you know selling hard disk drives in a big part of our business with unit volume running well into six figures every month. This year the fund has grown to over $20,000.00 and increases in size every day. The beauty of this particular charity is that it allows you to have real time, online visibility to where the dollars are spent and the people to whom they benefit.
