The Sustainable Electronics Reuse & Recycling (R2) Standard v3 certifies that CNE Direct has been audited and is in compliance with the requirements for downstream vendor management, data sanitization, brokering, and testing & repair of used IT equipment and components. R2, which stands for Responsible Recycling, is a standard specifically created for the electronics recycling industry by Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI).
ISO 9001:2015
CNE Direct maintains independent third-party certification of its quality management system to the international ISO 9001:2015 standard – a management system that specifies in broad terms the necessary components of a quality management system. ISO 45001:2018
CNE Direct has achieved ISO 45001:2018 registration for operating an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system that works to eliminate or minimize risk to employees and other parties by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving its OH&S performance. CNE is audited for IT Asset Value Recovery though data sanitization, refurbishment, reuse, resale, distribution and brokering of IT equipment and components in the global market.
TAPA FSR Level A
The CNE Direct facility in Columbus, Ohio is certified to TAPA FSR Level A requirements (Transported Asset Protection Association Facility Safety Requirements). TAPA FSR specifies the minimum acceptable standards for secure warehousing, or in-transit storage, withing a supply chain.

The CNE Netherlands facility is a member of the Lenovo Trusted Supplier Program, which is an established list of trusted Lenovo suppliers that are regularly audited and found to demonstrate sound security practices.
