Paul Knight- CEO Paul has been in the business of reselling
technology hardware since 1988. He established the international sales and purchasing
division for NECX Inc. and grew it to over $200 million in revenue within 5 years.
He later assumed responsibility for NECX's entire trading operation and managed over
120 traders working in every major geographical area worldwide. Paul has worked with
many of the world's largest technology manufacturers over the years including HP,
IBM, NEC, Samsung and many others. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University
of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Certificate of Foreign studies from Sophia University
in Tokyo, Japan.
Chard Corsini- COO A co-founder of CNE Direct, Chard draws
on over 12 years of sales and business development experience working with Fortune
100 companies in the USA and Europe. Combining experience as a computer reseller in
the early and mid 1990's and as Manager of Business Development and
Partner Management for Open Market, Inc. and Upromise, Inc, Chard brings a well rounded
perspective to CNE's business. Prior to founding CNE Direct, Inc. Chard was instrumental
in forging new relationships for Upromise Inc.with companies such as Gateway, General
Motors, ExxonMobil among others. Chards holds a BS from the University of Maine.
Ed Latham- Senior VP of Trading Ed has been in the business of reselling technology hardware since 1993. He was one of the original team members of the computer product division of NECX- helping to grow the division to become the company's leading revenue generator within 2 years. He later assumed the role of VP of Business development for Trade Wings, an independent distributor of semiconductors. Ed has implemented contractual relationships between his company and numerous Fortune 1000 manufacturers and distributors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Worchester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts.
Tom Murphy - VP of Asia Operations Tom has been involved in electronics distribution since 1988. As OEM Sales Manager at NECX he grew the division’s sales from $15M per year to over $250M within 5 years. He later took over all of the company’s OEM Purchasing functions and pioneered numerous consignment and shared revenue programs with Fortune 100 manufacturers- many of which are still in existence today. In 1996 he founded Technology Solutions Group and grew that company to $35M in sales within 3 years before moving on as an angel investor and Director at Fairmarket.com.
Joe Nye- VP of Operations Joe has been in key freight management and IT operations roles since 1990. While at Stream International he established the first outsourced fulfillment solution for Microsoft and grew it to a 120 person call center, offsite 3.5 inch floppy disk and CD replication services. Over the years he has also held leadership roles that resulted in AT&T’s successful launch of WorldNet online CD ordering and fulfillment process and Kentucky Textile’s implementation of custom inventory and shipping solutions. Joe holds an Associates Degree in Industrial Engineering from Tri-State University and a Bachelors degree in Management from Western Illinois University.
